NY's Highest Court Confirms supports Ravitch's appointment as Lieutenant Governor

The state's highest court has supported the appointment of Richard Ravitch as Lieutenant Governor. Paterson's appointment of Ravitch was not supported by the lower courts. In what is being called a "stunning reversal," the appointment has been upheld. Ravitch will be the first appointed Lieutenant Governor in New York state history.
