Two new initiatives launched that focus on service and volunteerism, I Participate and Cities of Service.
I Participate: This program helps citizens find volunteer opportunities near them. "The Entertainment Industry Foundation has mobilized the entertainment community around a groundbreaking initiative designed to inspire a new era of service and volunteerism." Check out I Participate to learn more.
Cities of Service: This program identifies "local sectors where volunteers are most needed, match community organizations with volunteers" and share best practices.
